Re: World XI tour of Pakistan
Good news if implemented
Re: World XI tour of Pakistan
Hafeez should be in the side instead of Shehzad imo
Re: World XI tour of Pakistan
I think ICC is determined to restore home cricket here if players are given full security even if distracting events/blast occur. Like, Lahore has faced a few bad events before but the world IX visit is done as planed.

Iconic excellence of modern Pakistani cricket in a single pic:
Both players had a lap of honor around the ground today
Re: World XI tour of Pakistan
And so the champions pocketed the historic series:
Pakistan183 for 4 (Shehzad 89, Babar 48, Perera 2-37) beat World XI 150 for 8 (Perera 32, Miller 32, Hasan Ali 2-28) by 33 runs
Re: World XI tour of Pakistan
A good win but most importantly the series passed off without any untoward incident. No city or country is safe these days as events in London proved today. I still think that Hafeez should be in the team. Shehzad who is usu a slow starter batted well today scoring 89 runs @ a SR of 161.81…quite unlike his normally Tuk Tuk batting so well-played

Breaking News: LAHORE, Pakistan celebrated the return of international cricket with a thumping 33-run win to clinch the final Twenty20 match and the series against a World XI team at Lahore’s Gaddafi stadium Friday. The hosting of the short series is a major step towards convincing international teams to begin touring Pakistan again, with Sri Lanka already due to play a Twenty20 match in Lahore on October 29. Foreign teams have refused to tour Pakistan since a militant attack on the Sri Lankan team bus in Lahore in March 2009. Under Sarfraz Ahmed, Pakistan team outsmarted the World XI with players from seven countries in Friday’s decider to match the important occasion by claiming the series 2-1. Breaking News
