hahah... people love to bash the Indian bowlers. It makes little sense. Fact is that regardless of how they are not a world class bowling unit.. they still show up and get the job done.... take the wickets.. to win games for india.. majority of the time.

Exactly ! I would let our team’s game on the field do the talking. After all, whats the point in having world class bowlers if they are found guilty of match fixing, and get banned from the game ? I will take our mediocre bowling attack over such a world class attack anyday

actually indian blowers did decent job apart from sreesanth who gave most of the runs.zaheer and harbhajan were pretty good and munaf did awesome job.second specialist spinner might restricted bangladesh even lesser score

If teams are keep posting 300+ runs on these sub-con pitches, Pakistan's chances get slimmer and slimmer against any quality pace attack.

nah dude your wrong.its more of indians can’t take foreigner criticising their player.national pride comes first. indians have been biggest critics of their own player.remember today when sachin got run out everyone where like this guys don’t have responsibility while playing on big world cup stage. even when they were scoring at awesome rate.check out rediff and all other indian sites(comments) even if sachin scores a 100 there will be still lot of criticism

Third rate comments. My earlier comment that Indians can't take criticism of their players has been proved correct.
Can't speak for other Indians here, but I think that most of the "criticism" was unwarranted given that they did the job they were supposed to do.

You should read the comments properly before talking about the unwarranted criticism. No one criticised the victory, but the victory was due to the batsmen and even your own commentators, i.e. Shastri, manjrekar and otehrs were saying that had sehwag not scored 175 India could have been in trouble. And this is when you are playing BD not south Africa, England or West Indies. If you think a comment like "Indian bowling needs to improve if they are going to win this tournament" is to be labelled as unwarranted criticism than I stand by my comments of Indian fans.
A few days ago when Pak beat BD in the warm up game I made similar comments abotu our batting that we could not rely on Misbah and Shehzad all the time and other batsmen will have to step up their performance.

It was BD batsmen this time who managed to score 280+ against indian attack and that is under the lights in 2nd innings...

Overall, Bangladesh played well but the score posted by India was way out of their lead.. it is not an easy task for any team to chase and win 350+ score in ODIs...

Why do you forget that this is the same Indian bowling attack that bowled Australia/NZ out in the warm up games ? Indian bowling attack might not be the best in the world, but they are capable of doing the job on subcontinent pitches. Cricket is a team game, and no team excels in all 3 departments - batting, bowling and fielding. Every team has some strengths and some weaknesses compared to others. In the end it is the combination of those strengths and weaknesses that matter.
