^ agree with you. Misbah is arguably the best choice as captain right now. Afridi is too brainless and irresponsible

But to be fair to the PCB, it is only since the series against South Africa in UAE that Misbah is suddenly starting to look like captain material. Prior to that series his form had been indifferent and he could not even justify a permanent place in the team as a batsman. Only a performing captain can lead by example

bhai I agree with you on Afridi but at the same time Misbah is not right for ODIs…he is doing well in tests because his new found confidence and patience in batting in the late middle order is working. But for ODIs his approach it too slow…unless he can turn on the MISBAH of a few years ago where he used to be the ODI teams saviour…giving him captaincy won’t work.

I am still bewildered why YK did what he did to ODI/TEST captaincy…he is a fighter, a motivator and really smart planner. But his attitude sucked off field and hence he lost it. Can he ever get it back? its pretty much a new team for ODIs barring Afridi and Razzaq. So why not?

I guess for now the team should unite under Afridi and fight for every game as if it is a knock out game. Then and only then, Afridi will show results. Also Afridi needs to listen to YK in ODI team meetings and planning. So YK can be the unofficial VCaptain.
