The ceremony was ok.. I want to watch the send off on Prime today.. I think it would be more fun!
Man what a crappy ceremony, I thought it was supposed to be similiar to the Sydney Olympics, and it was 1000 times worse. Excpet for the part when they introduced the team but other than that it was horrible.
Were strings supposed to perform?
Just watched the replay of the ceremony on dish…and it was very choatic and disorganized and was ultimately all hype. I heard later that they cancelled a major laser show which was supposed to be the main climax..due to excessive moisture in the air. The team intros were cool though…except i just wished that paki team didnt look such paindos with their coats buttoned up just like they are parading into the morning assembly in high school 
. Whats up with Saeed’s beard? I am sure it wont kill him to atleast trim it a little bit just to look semi-civilized for an event of such scale where you are representing your whole country. Rest of our guys looked good…didnt see shoib though maybe because due to his injury? I noticed India got a huge roar when they walked out…compared to a meow we got. Overall it was a good and did the job in getting me excited like a little giggly school girl that it has FINALLY BEGUN!

I think it was OK, specially the Sea part. IT was awesome, its aerial view was fascinating.. I missed Pak's entrance , heard it was great :( THey all looked quite decent.
Ka Ka malang, what show were you watching, Pakistan got even a bigger roar than India, even Lankans had more support than India.
It was a good ceremony, :) but I think they could have done without the nudity.

Why is the beard a source of embarrassment for you? I mean first of all I dont think trimming your beard or for that matter just shaving it off will make one look more civilized. Secondly they are not there to participate in a fashion show. We should try and encourage Saeed, atleast he is trying to follow the religion to the best of his ability.

Saeed is just following a Sunnah. Its something to be appreciated because he's practicing religion. Never thought someone can post such disgraceful comments.

If youre trying to imply India got a bigger pop than Pakistan, you are wrong, eventhough Sri Lanka got the biggest one, considering the touring countries.
was such a stupid ceremony....
the parade was hopeless; our school cud perform better than those guys....
the music and dances were all rubbish with lack of organization....
i expected something much (much much much) better....
ot maybe atleast something to be called 'good'....

I saw the opening on tv...the music ythey showed sucked however the setting out and the parade were alrite...i think they cud have done it way better.
