No RV you have it all wrong, female eggs don't destroy Y-chromosomes, certain females have this 'problem' where they end up destroying the Y's.

Y chromosomes don't last as long as the X ones. And diet (acidic or alkaline) can influence the environment of the female rep. system. An alkaline environment as opposed to an acidic one is more conducive to the Y chromosomes. That's the only "problem" that I've read about.
But....I really do hope that he believes that female eggs are on this mission to attack and destroy the the Y chromosomes. It's just more awesome that way.
