there are hundreds and thousands of persian/arabic words which we know as urdu words have found its way intio english language and of course with a lil twisted spelling and/or pronounciation.

examples:

Jungal = Jungle
baazaar = bazaar
karishma = Carisma
paijaama = pyjama
kamar_band = cummerband
guru = guru
qameez = chemise
al-chemia = chemistry

etc**

I guess OP clearly said that the obvious techno things should be ignored. and i guess these fall under the same category.

Every name would “sound” same
Jalebi - name of sweet thing
burfi - name of sweet thing
chum chum - name of sweet thing
@Little_Princess wrote “pajama” which is also name of something

if this is the case then you can write lots of words
Bottle - Botle
Cup - Cup
Table - Table
Hospital - Hospital
Internet - Internet
Computer - Computer
Plate - Plate
Pizza - Pizza ..

Window - vindah
plastic - plaskut
carpet - kurrpeet
mug - mugga
toilet - talat

up - opur (sound quite similar)
star - stara (i think this one counts)

Then English has borrowed some words from Punjabi language too. :snooty:
tation=station
sakool=school
vich=witch

Urdu is basically a local (Harrappan?) language. But it has been heavily influenced by Indo-European languages like Sanskrit and Persian. Thus similarities between some words between English and Urdu.
BTW, 'behtar' is borrowed from Persian.
