Its not about advice people. I didn't mention advice, i was specifically gave examples too. why you people confuse the two things?
so, would you be affected if some chatterbot would say the same things? afterall, they are word of comfort, and chatterbots do have enough AI to figure out the gist of the text discussed.

Umm, psychiatrists counsellors and therapists .they are all strangers to you ! talking to them , helps. In fact that's what it is all about, talking to strangers about your issues, because they won't judge you , make assumptions and talk about issues with others you know.

psychiatrists are real people, professionals, you meet them physical there is reality involved.
not so in case of virtual strangers.

Sometimes, you simply feel the need to be heard. The words of support strangers offer are soothing, as they tell you that someone did hear you, you were acknowledged. Sometimes being heard is all someone needs. Someone telling me I'm not insane, for thinking what I'm thinking, feeling what I'm feeling.
