I didn;t say it;s not safe. And infact when i was moving to pakistan over a year ago, i did all the research and asked everyone and i was recommended defence because it was safe. I've been living here for almost one and half year now.
BUT, What i have experienced in defence more is those boys who have no fear of anyone, who either belong to army families or are friends
with politicians, ( a lot of politicians live in defence) and whenever they see alone girl, they go crazy, so crazy that sometimes i wonder
whether they'll be able to tell their own sister apart at this moment. You'll wonder how desperate they are?
I go out every day, my offices are on liberty, johar town and jail road, i drive late at nights, and a lot at day time, and nothing happens to me anywhere else, but as soon as i enter defence, my heart starts beating faster and faster. as i have mentioned before they have no fear of anyone, and no passing car will bother stopping or atleast slowing down to tell them we are noticing. It happens so often, at times on daily basis, they will follow you, they will block your way, will try to talk to you through window, throw stuff at you so you stop. and i am not at all saying it happens at night, yes it happnes at day time on busy road, only inside defence.
Even traffic police will try to ignore it. I used to go out for walk with my neighbor lady and her kids. and people used to follow us in cars and throw stuff on us then speed, and the guards will say ( oh really, oh they were fast, we cudn;t stop them) And i believe defence people know defence's dark secrets. ( Mubashir Luqman wrote an article about two months ago, revealing some secrets about some guys having big houses and posh cars, and they trapping girls and then forcing them to be call girls, and they do it as a profession, it's a huge group, with politicians and thier sons involved, and it all happens in defence, i will try to find the article and post it here).
worst happened to myself recently. I was going to a friend's, it;s was around 6:30 7 in the evening. I was driving out of defence, and the road was very busy, a couple of Bas**** start following my car, they weren't only following, they were calling from window, gving dippers, doing zigzag infront of me, they just won;t let me pass, and dozens of cars were passing around us, no one bothered to stop, and when they were being too crazy my car hit ,they ran away. My tyre broke, completely damaged and my car stopped, and i was too scared that i started crying, and i came out of the car, and believe me, dozens and dozens of cars passed me by i was right in the middle of the road, and not a single person stopped to asked what happened little girl ( if you don;t know my age i hardly look 20) after some time a traffic police came and he wasn;t cooperative at all. It all happened to me in defence. I was so shocked i can;t tell you. and i'm still under trauma, i can;t live in defence anymore, cause i failed to get over the fear. my heart starts beating faster and hand start shaking as soon as i enter defence, cause i believe if something hapens to me no one will bother helping me.
