The thing to do here is to request from the sender of this email to provide reference and in turn ask him or her to provide a reference until this email finds it’s way back to the originator who can then provide the references. If they cannot then it is better to take them with a pinch of salt. Some of these points are sound but because there are subtle alteration to the true references the overall meanings can be different from the intended ones.
