amana 2 kids who go through a lot of clothes and towels and what nots. so there is quite a bit of laundry but if we really look at the capacity of a washer and numbr of clothes that ppl go through then it does not add up.
I mean I understand that lights, darks and whites are done seperately, some ppl do towels and bed linens separately as well.
so while I may have enough clothes in one week to only do one load, the lights, whites, darks makes them three loads..however, if we collect all whites of everyone, its really a load a week. etc etc.
I can understand that for sports if clothes need to eb washed more often because if kids practice several times a week and you dont have several uniforms then it can be an issue.
as far as stay at home moms go, I agree, if there is a system in place, it will go on much easier
