i am on the fence with this one. Being financially independant is not my major concern. I dont think a marriage should be about this. Many times spouses divide roles and responsibilities. One becomes the bread winner the other a house runner. One doesnt necessarily need to take on two responsibilities in order to feel secure or valued.
