as for your question ... i don't think it's VITALLY needed ... but it's encouraged ...
the way life is such a roller coaster and dont know what will happen next ... it's a more safe idea to if not radically independent then have somewhat independent women ... it helps in times of need ... and lets the family stay secure .... bad finances can physically or mentally break a family ...
