If this feud is between two men (let’s say)…and the women from either side have no involvement in the issue…then what would one gain from humiliating the wife/daughter of the other?
Apart from being barbaric, such vengeance is illogical…and can’t be used as justification. You can’t punish an innocent person for something that they didn’t do…even if that innocent person is from the family of the one you have issues with.
The people behind this idea should be stripped and thrashed. The schemers as well as the ones who engaged in it.
Yes it’s jahalat. And sometimes it isn’t even “jahalat” in the literal sense. Sometimes even a person who does know and understand what’s right/wrong in Islam…lets their anger get the better of them…and stoops lower than an animal. People like this…contribute in their own way…in making Islam look bad.
