Re: wo baat saray fasaney main jis ka ziker na tha.....wo baat unheen bari nagawaar g
Is MQM going to sue BBC or not? That's the make or break scenario.
Met didn't deny the claims made by BBC, only refused to own a mere 3 page heavily censored witness statement which is floating around on social media. The witness statement could be a copy of Pakistan High Commission in Britain.
But here's the learning lesson for that 'proof proof' crowd. In most respectable countries with proper legal system, the evidence is never made public before or during the hearing. There are very strict rules about it.

I cant emphasize anymore, even if there is a 0.1% chance of Altaf hussain or anyone taking money from India, Govt MUST do complete investigation and punish them for every bad thing. But i just wish these so-called journalists and social media farigh activists stop their nonsense and let the authorities figure out right and wrong. This is so turning into a a circus now
Agreed 100 %. There must be zero tolerance on such issue. Even it is for the most high up of the country..
And our media looks studpid after this saga of I am the first I am the first

Where is imran's lawsuit against khwaja asif or Maulana diesel? Or did he accept that he is a liar and part of Jewish lobby (Israel) ? :D

But don't take the mick out of Western libel laws by comparing it with rules of Pakistan's Banana Courts.
MQM filed defamation cases against Pakistanis for little little things. How about they take full advantage of British libel laws, take BBC to the court and earn millions and million of pounds. It is an absolutely huge, extremely serious allegation established by a reputable broadcasting corporation, not some desperate mudslinging done by munafiq Mullah or a political opponent.

So the latest is: SY has confirmed that Mr Merchant document where the Indian link is established is indeed their document, and they are not happy about the fact it got leaked. It has to be some lawyer's doing, maybe not directly. But someone shared those files with somebody at some point without realising the potential consequences.

You're talking about libel right? I remember back in the mid nineties (even after reitrment) Allan Lamb and Ian Botham (Bootha) filed a libel case against Imran for calling them racist turds or something (accusing him of ball tampering) and Imran ended up winning costing Bootha and Lamb almost 500 grand pounds on attorney fees! Lamb and Botham lost a good chunk of their savings that day :DSupposedly this was the most expensive libel case in history, atlesat back then it was...
