To be fair i don’t blame Petraus he is merely a scapegoat for the real badmash at the top.

I hope Allah eases his pain and helps him learn the true path whatever that may be… better to have an honest enemy than a dis-honest friend.

As for America the whole world can judge the fact that the USA has a history of failing in wars beating other nations smaller than itself but never taking on the big ones…
