It depends. Northern areas are mountains, valleys and plains. For winter, temperature in most valleys and lower mountain areas fall to -8C to 18C, as an average (some areas may have a bit higher/lower temperature). On higher mountains, it drops a lot.
Anyways, in almost all areas, sun rises almost every day, even in winter, so it is not much difficult to go out in sunlight.
