Things have changed in Nadal’s favor I agree. Tide will turn, clouds will part, sun will shine and Emperor Federer will put Nadal in his place. Lesson shall commence soon.

Great effort by Nadal to win one set against Federer on grass, he should be satisfied with his performance:D
When Federer won the first set 6-0, i really felt for Nadal so it was good that he won a set otherwise it would have been a big humiliation for young Nadal :)
Great performance by Federer, he is undisputed king of tennis:)

^ why would it be a humiliation? Nobody, not even Federer expected him to get even this far at wimbledon this year. He’s a clay court player and to get to the wimbledon FINAL on his second attempt is a fantastic effort! And even though Nadal choked in the first set, he gave a good enough preview of what is to come from Nadal at wimbledon in years to come. He’s only 20 years old and he’s already a great champion :k: What would be good to see is Federer beat him on clay and not on grass cuz we all know that he’s the undisputed king of grass.
I cant wait to see what Nadal gonna do at the U.S. Open this year!

Forget how he reached final , i was talking about losing to Federer in straight sets with first set result being 6-0 (remember we are talking about Wimbeldon FINAL here).
Nadal is an exciting young player (i really like the way he plays) but he had defeated Federer 5 times in a row on his favourite surface (most of those games were very close 5 set encounters) unlike this one where first set result was 6-0.
Next time Federer plays Nadal on clay, he will definitely beat Nadal (mark my words).

^Just because Federer is the king of grass does not mean you cant give credit to Nadal for having a great wimbledon and for his achievement of getting to the final when there were better grass court players around.
Ofcourse, the matches between Federer and Nadal on clay have been extremely tight. Federer has played on clay a lot longer than Nadal has played on grass. It's much easier for Federer to beat Nadal on clay then it is for Nadal to beat Federer on grass. But the thing is I really do not see Federer beating Nadal on clay anytime soon just like I dont see Nadal beating Federer on grass anytime soon.

Well he deserves credit for reaching finals, he is an awesome player and he will probably end up being one of the best ever.
