Re: Will this recent attack spur outrage against terrorists in Pakistan?
its a waste of time arguing with terrorist sympathisers. maan behen kee gaaliyan is the only way to deal with these jaanwers. jihadism is a disease much like pedophilia. jihadi supporters must be made to realise that there will be a social cost associated with defense of jihadism. treating jihadis as humans has only emboldened them to do this:
Bajaur girls’ school building blown up
BAJAUR: An explosion in a girls’ school razed the building to ground in Bajaur tribal agency on Saturday.
Miscreants had planted explosives at various spots in government girls’ middle school building in Tangi area of Sallarzai tehsil in Bajaur tribal region, sources said. The building crumbled to ground as explosives went off with loud blast that rocked the area.
No loss of life reported in the incident, sources added.
Re: Will this recent attack spur outrage against terrorists in Pakistan?
This statement speaks volumes about you and your kind!
my statement is pretty mild. if jihadis keep it up pakistanis will soon be hearing the sounds of daisy-cutters. jihadis are a danger to humanity and goras will finnish the job if pak army does not have the stomach for the fight.
Re: Will this recent attack spur outrage against terrorists in Pakistan?
Jordanians supported Zarqawi, not the government of Jordan chucko.
It's evident when Jordanians held a mass celebration of a suicide bomber that slaughtered 125 Shi'as in Hilla in April 2005.
Another piece of prime bunk from someone whose login name has the perfect initials for this kind of generalization - some idiots in Jordan would have celebrated when Shias were killed. There are morons of this kind in every country and faith. That does not make Jordan as a nation - it has always been one of the US's closest allies and supporters on containing Islamist extremism - a nation of Al Qaeda sympathisers.
And, since your attitude (superior to the extent of flaunting your vast ignorance) speaks considerably about you, pray, let us know who funds the Deoband Dar ul Uloom, in India, which has been the inspiration for the jehadis causing mayhem in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and indeed in several other countries including India. Hint - even the tough talking Hindutvaites did not have the courage to stop the funding that it gets from the Government of India.
Re: Will this recent attack spur outrage against terrorists in Pakistan?
safe? complete security? Abu Qatadah is in a maximum security prison in Full Sutton. How does one happen to be safe and security in a maximum security prison in UK, especially when he happens to be a muslim and arrested on charges of terror against the West?
Abu Qatada in a British prison is safe. Were he in a Jordanian one, his entire network would have been rolled back. Believe me, the Arabs know how to do that much better than the Brits do.
It is the same with Omar Abdul Rehman. Had the US handed him over to the Egyptians 10 years before 9/11 instead of keeping him safe and sound in a US prison, most probably, 9/11 would never have occurred.
These killers' being Muslim is incidental. Baruch Goldstein was a Jew. Hitler was Catholic. Narendra Modi is a Hindu. None of what they have done reflects on the religions that they followed. Killers are criminals and they deserve to be dealt with as criminals themselves.
Re: Will this recent attack spur outrage against terrorists in Pakistan?
unlike its government, population of jordan is very anti-american and in a free election, muslim brotherhood would win the elections hands down. according to pew reserach survey from 2005, majority of jordanians think suicide bombings against americans are justified:
…A notable exception to this trend is Jordan, where a majority (57%) now says suicide bombings and other violent actions are justifiable in defense of Islam.
When it comes to suicide bombings in Iraq, however, Muslims in the surveyed countries are divided. Nearly half of Muslims in Lebanon and Jordan, and 56% in Morocco, say suicide bombings against Americans and other Westerners in Iraq are justifiable. However, substantial majorities in Turkey, Pakistan and Indonesia take the opposite view.
…Similarly, 99% of Jordanians have a very unfavorable view of Jews. Large majorities of Moroccans, Indonesians, Pakistanis and six-in-ten Turks also view Jews unfavorably.
…And in Jordan, support for the Al Qaeda leader has risen over the last two years from 55% to a current 60%, including 25% who say they have a lot of confidence in him. Unsurprisingly, support for bin Laden in non-Muslim countries is measured in the small single digits.
Re: Will this recent attack spur outrage against terrorists in Pakistan?
I am surprised a guy who love X-men having such little imagination.
There are half million possibilities.
I pakistan used put shorts on all most 1/3rd of the day. You really think I want taliban style Govt. ???
========================================================
Since you willing to know I will tell what are the harms if pakistan handle things, US style.
A mullah government will not come into power in Islamabad but it can come into power in our provincial governments in NWFP and Balochistan.
Pakistan needs to assert total control over NWFP. Lawlessness, and Tribalism needs to end. There cannot be a government within a government running things on their own, undermining the soverignity of Pakistan, harboring terrorists, killing non-sunnis, militarizing the border areas, smuggling cocaine, etc....

I will suggest army to cleanse itself first, get its own house in order, dissociate from politics than support the civilian government to enforce the writ..... living in a glass house and throwing stones at others will not help, really.
Re: Will this recent attack spur outrage against terrorists in Pakistan?
^^ the problem is that cleansing the border areas is a more immediate priority than the army
i totally agree, the army should get the hell out of politics and never launch any coups and be a servant of the state and not run the state
but we have to do something about our border areas
the current status quo cannot continue
^ cleansing of army is required well even before politics scene, the factions/groups in army/ISI, secret support of AlQaida/Taliban or their sympathisers within ranks.

Do you want me to post up poll results of Jordanians who viewed Zarqawi favorably prior to the Amman attacks?
