Re: Will this recent attack spur outrage against terrorists in Pakistan?
So Jordan officially supported Zarqawi? This is something that, if it could be proved, would win you a Pulitzer for brilliant investigative reporting.
To be more precise, Jordan had been asking the UK - yes, the second power in the "war on terror" to hand over a fanatical preacher who was Zarqawi's mentor - Abu Qatada - but guess what? Qatada is in an MI-5 safehouse living in complete security. And he is not the only fanatic safe in the west. Muhammad Al Masa'ari is in complete safety in London and Sheikh Omar Abdul Rehman who tried to blow the WTC up the first time (10 years later, his student Osama in Ladin succeeded where Rehman failed) has been kept in safety by the US despite the Egyptians asking for his extradition for many years hoping to interrogate him and go after his networks in the Arab world.
Try and get some facts into your mind before pointing fingers. Ignorance is never pretty.
Jordanians supported Zarqawi, not the government of Jordan chucko.
It's evident when Jordanians held a mass celebration of a suicide bomber that slaughtered 125 Shi'as in Hilla in April 2005.
