Isnt this already a open secret? The Saudi regional concerns tend to line up with Israels. Both fear Iranian influence, both fear extremism… I mean they would like to deny it, but no ones naive enough to believe that Saudis are motivated by the plight of Palestinians. They have cushy setup in place, why ruin it? Going against Israeli intersts is hardly in the interest of the Saudis.

I would question whether such a conversation would even be worthwhile ... It suggests that Palestinians are in some way able to wage any kind of offensive ... They are not.

It seems that most Pakistani newspapers shared the news which was published by awd news without confirming the authenticity. A statement like this would be very unpopular for saudi rulers, that's another thing that as far as Iran is concerned Saudi and Israeli motives/desires align.
