So you honestly believe an entire nation of 170 million is being "punished" for what 90,000 soldiers (many of whom are probably dead by now) did?
I suppose Bangladesh's crushing poverty & periodic cyclones can just as easily be explained as "punishment" for the heinous crimes committed by the Mukti Bahini and the Bangladeshi government against Biharis and other non-Bengalis.
