Re: Wii
I finally got around to trying the Wii this weekend and this it has a lot of potential and the Nintendo strategy to vi for both typical gamers and users outside that demographic will prove successful as it’s a great system for large groups of people and older users will like the fact that it’s not just button mashing and will be able to keep up.
I played the Wii sports disk and found that Boxing could be a nice little workout if you played for an extended period of time. The guy I was fighting kept bumping me as he bopped and weaved so you really need to have some space between yyour opponet (4 -0 record here).
Tennis was good, again make sure you have room when playing against other person. I liked Bowling and Golf was one of my favorites. Baseball was alright.
In the games I think all you really need to do is a simple wrist motion but how can you get into it that way? So acting as it the wii remote was the actually object is the way to go and it makes you move more and is alot more fun.
Def. a cool little system, not sure how football and Fifa will translate, maybe down the road nintendo will come out with wii footwear controllers? It’s a system made for friends, family, and groups of people so you’ll want to get a second remote stick right away. I’d recommend it and then one of the other systems for combat/first person shooter games.
Here an articela bout the Wii from today…

I haven't tried it yet. I don't know anyone who has it.
Re: Wii
^^If you are in the NYC area go to the Nintendo World Store, they have demo units where you can test. Come to think of it most Toys R Us should have it too.

Re: Wii
I am currently playing Tiger Woods PGA Golf 2007 on Wii. Game play is very interesting. There is a slight bug in the game, where it auto-putts a sucky few inches if you take a bit longer thinking about it, but otherwise very realistic game and amazing course lay outs.
Re: Wii
I can't seem to find a "backup" for that that one. I guess I'd really have to get a month of gamefly afterall.
