Now this is all islam require from a wife. Now you can analyze yourself what you need to do to meet these simple requirements. As everyone has different life and different priorities.
For instance if my wife has some technical skills, like she is an accountant or interior designer and she can help in sharing my financial burden then i can request her to do so. But if the children are very young then i should not do this.Children should be our first priority
Life is full of compromises and one should act according to situation.
If your husband is a good cook, he can cook for wife or for himself, the same is true for house work too. In our culture we can call him a Joroo ka ghulaam 
but from islamic point of view it is perfectly fine
