WI V NZ

Re: WI V NZ

Every second time, Brain Lara has to stand up to rescue his team...is there any future for WI beyond Lara??

Re: WI V NZ

West Indies kaa beRaa gharq ho rahaa hai .. Lara out!

Re: WI V NZ

Now the last hope is D Smith...hmmmmm...something like 75 runs...

Re: WI V NZ

Lara gone and West Indies too.

Re: WI V NZ

And pakistan had lost from WI :bummer:
7th wicket down at 158

Re: WI V NZ

Oye yaar...WI 158/7 off 41.3 overs...they must start hitting now...losing 2 matches in a row is not okay...hmmmm

Re: WI V NZ

176/9 (43.6 ov)

Re: WI V NZ

177 all out
They have been playing One Day cricket for last three days, poor West Indians. :)

Re: WI V NZ

Doesn't seem as if there will be when Lara retires.

Re: WI V NZ

WI for sure have lost this match...otherwise some WI bowlers produce some magical spells... :D

Re: WI V NZ

^ was there any part played by the pitch...or was it just bad batting.

Re: WI V NZ

From criocinfo:

Kurt is disappointed. "I think the West Indies team should go back to school cricket and learn the basics all over again. Sarwan, Smith both got out to shots, only they themselves can explain as to why they played it...I am a West Indian fan all the way but sometimes these guys just make you wanna turn off your TV or switch the channel to football instead...come on train better, apply better....the Aussies can do why can't we....is it really that difficult to want something and go after it like hitting a ball in an expected manner as best as you should."

Re: WI V NZ

If this was a match involving Pakistan we would have had numerous posts stating that the match was fixed. :)

Re: WI V NZ

^
well, we like to degrade ourselves for some weird reason

Re: WI V NZ

NZ 1/1

Re: WI V NZ

saTTaa :hoonh:

Re: WI V NZ

For some reason I was expecting such a start to NZ as well.

And as far as match-fixing, although you are right that we are overly optimistic of our players talents and pessimistic of their moral values. However, since some of our players in the past did get involved in that stuff, you can't completely blame the public.

I myself am not a proponent of satta paradigm, rather I believe our system sucks.

Back to the game. WI might fight it out really hard today.

Re: WI V NZ

NZ 44/2 afer 13 overs.
Fulton and Marshall out. Fleming battling it out in the middle with Styris.

Re: WI V NZ

75/2

Looks like NZ heading towards a win.

Re: WI V NZ

86/3 (23.5 ov)

couple of more wickets and NZ on their way otherwise, WI are doomed - seems like
