Getting there after asking for directions robs us of the feeling of achievement we get from driving around the same block for half an hour before finally finding the place.

because of same logic as females hate asking for recipe. how many times we have heard the cover-up line of "haan main bhi bilkul aisey hee pakatee ho except for this 1 step" even though they have never tried that dish in their whole life...
