Sorry to interept guys...............interesting discussion...........amelie has provided good info but the question remains un answered. But she is right Wadu is a ritual of preparation..........just imagine what is the most important issue in your life right now ur biggest problem.....now think of a person who can solve that problem in a flash, in a blink of an eye..........when u go to speak to that person about ur problem an request him to help u , you will be at your very best behavior, u will be respectfull and be very civilised quite similar to how we behave during interviews.
Now saying a Namaz is pretty similar Allah doesnt need our Namaz, its for our own good we need to go to Allah to ask for giudance and for anything and everything else so we should be at our best . Farting is not just pure harmless air, its toxic (i know u dont need to wear a mask for it but u wouldnt like someone fart in ur face as well), so anything that we do or that happens to us that is toxic and is avoidable will break the Wadu.So if a labourer is stinking after a days hardwork ,it s different from someone stinking cause of not taking a regulat bath.Its a matter ofrespect that when i go to Allah i am ready i have done everything i can to be pure and to be clean.
Also i disagree that we should not question Islamic Laws...............every thing that Islam suggests is based on common sense...........and Islam allows us to investigate in light of Quran and Sunnah and eventually by discussion but not with ignorants like myself but because these are sensitive issues so with Ulema.

can i ask a question about wudu?? since we're talking about wudu. about vomiting. why is it that only a mouthfull breaks wudu?? i mean if u vomit not a mouthfull ur wudu breaks. it' vomit either way isn;t it??

No its not about mouth full…look guys Wadu or no Wadu mouth full or little doesnt matter…what matters is that u r not doing any favours to anyone by keeping ur Wadu…Allah doesnt need ur Wadu…when u keep a tight control over ur Wadu it just shows how much u care about it and i am sure Allah will be pleased that U r trying to keep it pure and simple
And even if it breaks then what its not like u have to climb Everest to get a new one

Its between u and Allah so its up to u to show Allah how much u care

Thats exacly what i am trying to say…its not about having to do something… if u r having to do it , it means u r forced and u dont believe in it …if u really think its important u will definitely do it the right way

as far as tarawi goes it not a Farz so if u fart do a fresh Wadu and join again
But for Namaz yes u have to start again

all you’ve to do is repeat the 2 rakaat of the taraweeh, why is it so difficult a task? who knows Allah may still reward you for 4 taraweeh for we know He is the best of givers?

who says its down the drain..............look i am not the perfect muslim but i ill tell u if u only start Namazing in ramazan or do it sometimes otherwise u will have this farting issue but if u start regularly ur body adjusts and u will not have this issue

The answer is plain & simple. It stinks up the environment, as mentioned earlier. Also, this is different from breathing out, because you breathe out CO2, not methane which is a flammable gas ]

Also, there are many things we have to do in Islam just to please Allah. If there is no specific reason why we have to do Wazoo again, than its quite obvious that its done just to please Allah. If he says it makes us impure, then we must follow it, whether or not we have found the reasons why, or not.
