Who is fighting who, no one knows and that's what have created the problem in those pashtun populated area. As we've seen, and it occurred many times when leaders of the tribes call in for a grand Jirga against taliban with the help of Pak govt they all or most of them get killed by a suicide or remote controlled attack among the Jirga, killing most of their leaders.
But these drone attacks which are not targeting taliban but only innocent civilians, have created a kind of hatred towards Pak forces which is getting intensed day by day and as a result people are joining Talibans instead going against them.
Taliban is fighting everybody, that's what's happening. They're fighting the US, they're fighting Pakistan, they're fighting local tribes. That's what's happening.
Tomorrow they will fight among themselves.
