Additionally, if the U.S. Administration feels that it needs to take action, then it will regardless of what the others' opinion is. The pretext is already there "Allies in trouble, Monster on the loose, Gulf region bases vulnerable", and a whole host of other issues. The point of contention, and reason for this thread is that people want U.S. to attack Syria, whereas everywhere else that U.S. has taken action, it has gotten flack for it. That's all.
It's of no use for me or others to go in a circular debate over it. But I just wanted to make a point to ponder over, that we should consider our own actions before critiquing other nations namely U.S./UK. Don't want them invovled? Tell your leaders not to invite them. Simple. If you open the door once, you are yourself creating an opening and excuse for them to interfere again and again for one reason or another.
