nope… Afghan government and khudai khidmatgars demanded inclusion of option of an independent pashtunistan country ( comprising of present day KPK and FATA) in the refrendum of 1947…Later faqir of ipi declared himself amir of pashtunistan…while jirga of afridi tribesmen, who was going to announce their joining of pashtunistan movement, was annihilated by PAF bombing in 1951. The legendary ajab khan afridi and his brother were also involved in pashtunistan movement. It was a boiling issue in 50s but after that it subsided.
loy afghanistan is an idea that floats around, that KPK, FATA and balochistan should be merged with Afghanistan.
