My thoughts have been wondering. How come the new resolution on Iraq suddenly succeeded the day after the elections last Tuesday.

Political ploy?

A game?

Why?

What was our President doing out canvassing for votes, when he should have been doing the job the American People pay him to do.

How com the Foreign Crisis Speech he made about Iraq was only broadcast on Cable TV?

If We the American People are so threatened by Saddam.. that we are about to go to War.

Why was George out canvassing for votes?

And why wasn't his speech about the iminent crisis broadcast on national T.V.? Only broadcast on cable?

Anyone?

Ask for answers. and expect to get some.

Lets write a bunch of questions that most anyone would like an answer to.

Mr. Hussain? Will you take advantage of the opportunity to say NO to way?

Mr. Busch? Will you give attention to the answers?

Mr. Hussain? What if you and George were brothers. Would you still hate him?

Mr. Busch? Read the above question.

Mr. Hussain? , Mr. Busch?

It's not about winning or losing honey, it is about keeping you and me in the line.

That's what the game is all about.

Anything Goes.

huh? he tried to kill his daddy?

Mr. President? Is it true you threw icecream at your father?

Mr. Hussain? Are you really that overconfident?

Mr. President? Have you ever chopped down a cherry tree?

Mr. Hussain? Is it true you are the surgically removed twin of George Busch?

Mr. President? Jokes aside.

Mr. Hussain? Jokes aside.

Mr. President? How much oil would make you happy?

Mr. Hussain? How much oil are you willing to sell?

Mr. President? If...you had the chance to relive your live? What changes would you make?

Mr. Hussain? same as above.

Mr. President? Do you feel like you have completely fulfilled your destiny?

Mr. Hussain? same question as above.

Mr. President? Do you feel pleased and sure that you are on the right track for Americans?

Mr. Hussain? Do you ever cry?

Yes, he did tried to kill his daddy and he mentioned in his speech too.

Whatever you call Saddam or Bush. You call them stupid or smart. The bottom line is that they will never suffer. We will suffer.

Poodenay....I certainly cannot solve world problems alone. Nor can the evil that is growing around us, grow alone.

I am looking for 'Hope'. As I know Hope is a definition by Rama Maharisha Yogi....He said....

"Hope is an effort to make it so. Not a wish that it may be so."

Will you, can you join in giving us some Hope? What can we do to solve this everthreatening world disaster?

I was told once, "If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem." I think this is so here and now.

That is the very best defination of Hope I have ever heard.

You are certainly missing the most obvious answers to your question. The new resolution succeeded quickly and unanimously one day after the election precisely because of the outcome of the election. Many foreign governments were hearing the siren call of the Liberal Democrats thinking that (hoping that??) it represented the voice of the American people. They've watched the Democratic controlled Senate effectively gridlock an awful lot of the business of government and knew that a Democratic controlled Senate and House could easily thwart George W from implementing his agenda: both foreign and domestic. Particularly France understood that a unilateral or US led attack against Iraq outside the auspices of the UN would be less likely with a Democratic majority in Congress.

Surprise everyone. The American people spoke pretty resoundingly in this election giving the President and the GOP a victory that is unprecedented in off-year elections. Iraq, Al Qaeda, the war on terror and homeland defense were right at the top of the GOP agenda. The increased power of the President and the public support for his agenda translated into the quick victory in the UN.

As to why Bush hit the campaign trail to talk to the American people instead of sitting in the White House talking to himself, well "duh." The election results and the UN action give a pretty good clue don't you think? Now instead of having two more years of gridlock and political infighting, GW can look forward to implementing his agenda and policies. I think it is pretty safe to say that "you aint seen nothing yet."

Saddam Hussain is not a militarist, and also not a politician. Period!

My Voice,

My heart sank when I learned of the election results.

First of all made me think..War is practically, almost imminent.

Made me cry.

BTW

My conservative state came out 50/49.

Whats that tell ya? I don't think the American People are so soundly for war.

And ya know what else bothers me?

Is all the war movies on T.V. lately.

Last time we really made a difference in peoples lives (while at war) was in Japan maybe. And W. Germany.

Are we making a difference in AFghanistan? Did we make a difference to the Iraqis? in 1991? Or are we just full of greed?

Do we even have any morals?

The BIG Picture tells me that this is all about OIL!

The Bush's and all the OLD GUARD are still trying to make sure their pockets and their grandchildren's pockets are full of money. Nothing Moral about that.

The Deaths and the Suffering at their Greed is Discraceful.

I don't beleave that a foreign power was at the root of 911 and I don't beleave that there is any other way to look at this than is obvious.

It does anger me though to be lumped together as some are doing.
American's are not all the same, anymore than all the Muslims.
I would appreciate some of you calling each other on this when you see it. This will go a long way towards keeping those who know the truth from disliking you for your prejudice.

Do you see this?

Yes.

I. agree.

I am but a human. What can I do but pray?

It's Iraq's oil. Should be up to them who they wish to sell it too.

And if we ( the USA) need to depend on them? Well..we should tell them so. AND..make it worth their while as business partners do.

If they don't wish to sell their oil to us....Then...God hear my prayer.. don't allow it.

God will say. Not armies. Not terrorists. Not suicide bombers.

God will say.

Have Faith in that.

Have faith that God will make the truth be heard.

It's not a BUFF of ARGUMENT.

Its a matter of good will. Its a matter of acceptence. Its a matter of grace.
