But still, he has links with Pakistan and it is Pakistan that is going to suffer the ‘consequences’. Last decade was Afghanistan, where everything was linked with Kabul.

Probably now that a lot of the ‘terrorists’ have been pushed to this side of the border, naturally we’ll have more of them having links back to FATA.

I dont think that is true. US has little motive if any to invade Pakisan. We are not sitting on any oil reserves. I can;t also think of any benefits US will accrue from dismembering Pakistan.

just want to add my two bit in this without derailing the ongoing discussion . Another reason US will not attack Pak is because there will be no popular support for that war in America. people here dont approve of that and they will never approve of that unless Pak govt initiates a war against them and i dont see that happening.
US can fight the whole world but it cannot fight its peoples wishes.

Well there are other countries with much worse system of government
There are other countries with much more poverty
There are other countries with no electricity let alone load shedding

But all those countries are not blessed with one main thing.
