This is a silly discussion. There can be real reasons for this. Her girls go out in the sun and dont' avoid tans. In the east coast where it gets cold I've noticed that the desis are lighter in color. Also depends on where the immigration is from. If more people from the 'darker' regions immigrate and fewer people from the north etc immigrate than the population will be darker. In my experience its the same, dark people from dark families back home are dark here and light ones are light. Like I know Pathan families here who look the same as Americans its not like their American born relatives are darker, they all look the same as their paki born cousins.
Believe me mate it doesn’t bother us lads a bit .. if we do , we would be buying color fairness creams on regular basis …
