I remember talking to a guy friend of mine in the mall. We were standing close to the escalators and all of a sudden I see this totally glazed expression in his eyes. I looked to where he’s looking and what do I see…a woman wearing a short leather miniskirt and a sheer black chiffon blouse with her lingerie clearly visible coming down the escalator. I kid you not - he stopped mid-sentence and stared at her as she came down the escalator and walked through the mall - it was like his eyes were literally glued to her.

When I waved my hand in front of his face he finally realized what he had done and was blushing like crazy

Men totally lose a few brain cells when they see a pretty woman, let alone talk to one.

You should have slapped him back down to earth he was clearly not dazed by her beauty - he was just pervin’ on her!

Yes, I understand that when men see a woman they want to look - and by all means if someone has caught your eye then you can’t help that but then lower your gaze - why make it so obvious?!

i thought the same went for women...arent you intimidated by cute guys..

i definitely feel more comfortable talking to a not so cute guy as opposed to a really hot guy/man. maybe thats wrong but its true...good looks are distracting among men too.

My hubby is just the cutest when theres a beauty around. He tries so hard not to notice. But he just completely loses his train of thought. He goes absolutely speechless. And he was like this even back in the days when we were just friends and working together. We (his colleagues) would get such a kick out of it and he would get SO embarrassed.

If he reads this thread, he's going to kill me lol!

Really, theres nothing wrong with admiring beauty. Whether its a painting by Monet or a gorgeous gal walking by. When you lose your ability to appreciate beauty, you're in a sorry state yeah?

For me it's an indication that if you want to be successful in this world and the hereafter lower your gaze.

I've noticed that marriage helps a lot to control oneself, well at least for me looks don't attract me no mare, no matter how good looking is someone, when you're able to ignore someone's outward beauty then you can easily look at his character and inner beauty.

Why do you think that is? LOL.

I read an article where they described the state of a man's mind when he is listening to a female's voice. Just her voice!!!! It was hilarious because apparently, all you need is a female voice to get them...ummmm...interested?

Those beautiful and light skinned women do mesmerize me too.
