Re: Why Its Soo Much Difficult To Talk On Religion???
because religion installs a false sense of superiority complex vs other faiths, or vs other sects within the same faith.
Atheists feel ppl who follow religions are dumb...they feel superior to others too.No?

Peace,
When we talk about faith & religion than we are talking about believe in one God and His Law whereas the fashion, politics, ecnomics etc., are man made laws. I wonder how come you compare faith & religion with these.

yup, most staunch atheists have a major superiority complex vs people of faith.
Re: Why Its Soo Much Difficult To Talk On Religion???
Its scary for some ppl to seriously entertain the possibility they might be wrong about something that is so fundementally important to them. it can be quite painful to challange something you instinctively believe to be abhorrant for instance and also to consider that there may be fundemental elements of your centurys old, established belief system that might be wrong/misguided, especially when it is so engrained and knitted in to history, your community, your family. Its very easy to get defensive about both because it takes you to an unsafe area which threatens to make your life more of a struggle than it already is, but truth suffers as a consequence of this cowardice. Its something we all suffer from to one extent or another i think: we want what we want to be true to be true, even if it means accepting, on the surface, unpalatable 'truths' that appear to have to come with it. But people ultimately filter all the information they get into something that sits rightly with them. So you can have 2 muslims who conduct them selves very differently, even though on the surface they appear to agree. From what ive witnessed, there is as much self deception and hypocrisy amongst religious ppl as amongst non religipus, it doesnt appear to make a difference, ppl will defend thier belief system to great costs, mostly to the greatest cost of missing the bigger picture.
Re: Why Its Soo Much Difficult To Talk On Religion???
Surdar Asif is right on point. Its not that we can't talk about religion just that we are unable to digest the wrong perceptions we hold towards certain things in our religion. The question than becomes why is it that we as human beings can't overcome the flaws within ourselves? Isn't the true purpose of religion to take us into an elevated position and make us WANT to separate the good from the bad whilst overcoming the natural and habitual flaws existing within our psychy?

yes ur right i have a respect for the AULia Allah, but not those to declare themselves as some Allah ka banda ,baba jee, amil kamil etc tawez gandai....i conseder them lotters..
im here since 7 years i have never came across such a thing,or i think nobdy distribute lectrature publicly...i guess..its not bad to have a seperate mosques to pray according to one's fiqh, but these differences should not affect ppl day to day behaviour wid eachother,

ur right ..but i think ppl also avoid talking abt religion in public because u know, sometimes others dont have enough courage to hear camly others veiw, and their reasoning behind their faith in some matter...i have heard ppl saying that we avoid talking on religion amongst friends because of a possible fight due to lack of understanding eachothers point of veiw ..so its better to talk on other issues rather then religion..

its think not always abt digesting others wrong point of veiw vice versa......i thing discussion is to know the truth ..but ppl i have seen without knowing the full version of one's idea abt faith ,religion fiqh start to condem the ppl ...so they avoid talking on it openly..

lethal i think u missed my point...
i was trying to say ppl feel ok to talk on anything but on religion we avoid because of the consequences i.e behass ,takrar,....
i was not compairing man made laws to the law of Allah...its jus that we find talking on faith a very hard issue rather then anyother thing...evryone is ready to declare others kafir...evrything is associated as biddah(without having actuall knowledge on it) evryone is playing a role of mujhtahid, mufti rather then talib e ilm of deen.....they don want hear others veiws in order to better understand the religion....n try to be on the right path..
Re: Why Its Soo Much Difficult To Talk On Religion???
because religion installs a false sense of superiority complex vs other faiths, or vs other sects within the same faith.
Not Religion does install it. It's Man who installs it. Judaism, Christianity, Islam clear cut forbid bloodshed and differences. I'm watching you since a couple of years and with no reason you keep on talking bad about Religion. You are creating hatred within me for your stance, not your personal being. You are offending me and million others who are deeply connected and settled with their Religion, still you dare to write nonsense.
So who is creating the mess here? If you don't like Religion, leave it. Is someone forcing you to believe in X or Y? The things you write and say can easily start a war. So you are not different from those who misuse Religion and associate to it the command of a Supreme Being who said to create misfortune in this world.
He did not say. What a God is this who creates a mess within his own creation? It's Man. Not God. Not Religion. We humans are closer than some people like to believe. We just need to get rid of stirrer.

What you see in Saudi Arabia is an artificial thing that would collapse sooner or later (especially once petro-dollar finishes). In Saudi Arabia you will find Wahabism imposed over ‘Sunnis’ by ruling class who are Wahabis, even though Most of Saudi Arabians are not Wahabi but Sunni. Most Muslims (Sunnis as well as Shias) do not even consider Wahabis as proper Muslim and staunch Sunni ‘Beralvies’ would not even like to pray behind Imam of Mosque who is Wahabi or even Deobandi. Amongst Muslims, only Deobandis tolerate Wahabis.
Actually, Shias in Saudi Arabia are in much better position than Sunnis, because at least Shias can have their separate religious identity. As for Sunnis, they cannot even practice what they believe.
If Pakistan would start same policy what Saudi Arabia follows, than since Sunni ‘Berelvi’ sect is dominant in Pakistan, Pakistan would have to force on all Sunnis that every person calling themselves Sunni would have to follow Sunni ‘Berelvi’ sect, all mosques would have ‘Imam’ following Sunni ‘Berelvi’ sect, and no one in private or public could talk about any sect (Deobandi, Salafi, Ahle-hadith, or Wahabi) other than Sunni ‘Berelvi sect’. Further, any person breaching this law would get punished by state. Well, state can even execute them by declaring them Mushrik or Kafir.
After Sunnis ‘Berelvis’, Shias are second most dominant sect in Pakistan. Both have little religious differences and both have lived together peacefully since centuries. Anyhow, if Shia person becomes head of Pakistan and strong enough to control armed forces, than they can also enforce Shia laws all over Pakistan and instead of Berelvis we would have enforced Shia sect all over Pakistan
Fortunately, other than Wahabis and Deobandis, no Muslim believe on enforcing their sectarian laws and beliefs over others, and that is why you only see such farce in Saudi Arabia (Wahabi doing that) and Afghanistan under Taliban (Deobandi doing that).
Anyhow, if you like that in Pakistan and willing to accept enforced Sunni (Berelvis) or Shia domination then it is fine, but I am sure that minorities who follow Deobandi sect, Wahabi sect, Ahle-hadith sect, etc would not like that.
[Deobandi sect in Pakistan is 3rd largest but quite influential in middle class Pakistan including armed forces, academia, journalism, and bureaucracy ... so, obviously they would react badly if such would happen in Pakistan].
