Effects of animals we eat: Have you ever seen a person doing coca doodle do/moo moo/bah bah? I think thats enough to make my point.

yah a man develops the characteristics of those animals with which he kills his hunger. so Allah always wanted us to refrain from pigs for certain reasons as explained above

surely. i was watching some programme related to religious discussion on tv. and the man said .
a man is liable to act on what he dwells . for example a goat is disobedient and this can be seen among ppl . similarly a cow is faithful and a fish is unpredictable.

had it been halal i would still not eat it.
it stinks like, well, a pig man. there is no other way to describe it. and its meat stinks too.I used to work in a deli... and the smell made me vomit.

Dear friends,
Every life form in this world has a purpose that's we see them around.....pigs, vultures, kites..maggots etc. these are nature's scavengers. There are many birds, or insects which play a role in initiating pollination of plants when they hop from one plant to another. So all living forms are needed.
Imagine a world without birds, honey bees...animals..there would be no trees...no flowers..and hence no people. We need them all of them.
Regarding considering some of the animals as food..preferences vary across societies.
Just look at the construction of your teeth..it is similar to those of herbivores. Since we human being are gifted with a mental faculty which enables us to think and reason, we decided to boil or cook or roast meat so that it softens and hence is easier to eat unlike hyenas, wolves, dogs or big/short cats whose teeth are pointed and jaws are powerful which enables these animals to sink their teeth in raw meat and rip it apart. We can't do that.
When it comes of consuming pork...probably the scene of these creatures rolling in mud, muck or filth comes to mind and we don't feel like consuming them even if they are bred in a clean farm.

Well Islam means submission to the will of Allah and Allah has commanded that Pig is not to be eaten, that should be a reason good enough for us, regarding medical benefits or problems, how come when the whole western world consumes it at an enormous rate.
This is a frivolous argument that one develops the traits of the animal one eats, probably than we should all become cannibals. Islam's forbidding to eat it is only a test that who stops and who does not. Surely Allah knows better.
