:chai: hmmmm!! oh yeah not to mention its a double copy of laila majnu :snooty:

Re: Why is it

actually the story preceeds it. it’s a copy of this ancient greek story. i can not remeber the characters names right now. something greek  anyways. but in laila and majnu didn’t majnu just go crazy in the end? it might more be like sassi pannu though. without the jealous and evil nand/bhabi ofcourse :cb:

Re: Why is it

Nope Laila majnu orignated from a pashtu story Aparently it’s a true story between two rivaling families, boy girl falls in love, Adolecence love. they never marry maju gets banished and laila married else ware.

but i know they both die in the end, cant remember how:hmmm:

unless wiki is lying:emmy:

Re: Why is it

if it is a pashto story then i need to see kalay pathan :emmy: cuz laila was supposed to be like super dark but with gorgeous eyes.that’s wat majnu fell in love with.

oh heres a passage from wiki

From Arab and Habib folklore the story passed into Persian literature, and in 12th century, Nizami wrote a famous adaptation of Layli and Majnun in Persian. In his adaptation, the young lovers become acquainted at school and desperately fall in love. However, they cannot see each other because of a family feud, and Laila’s family arranges for her to marry another man. It is a tragic story of undying love much like the later Romeo and Juliet, which was itself said to have been inspired by a Latin version of Layla and Majnun to an extent. However, Shakespearean scholars deny any such influence.
