Another thing I see with desis, they always talk about the religious values of the wives if she reads namaz or Qur’an but hardly the men are questioned. Like this relative was visiting us the other day, she mentioned to my husband that not only do I read Zuhr real quickly, but I also that don’t cover my head which was extremely disappointing to her it seems. Maybe she meant well, I can’t say.
Luckily my hubby gave her a hearty answer after which she may still be having indigestion.
Regarding clothing, well we women do have sooooooooooo many choices, but the guys don’t have that many colors or material or styles to choose from. At least not nearly as many as we have. And we are too busy with our wardrobe to worry about theirs…
