That is the point of forums. You post , you open thread you go away , you come back and see if someone posted in your thread , or someone replied to your post. There is seldom instant gratification on forums. It is not like chat where you are interacting with people live.
Second thing if you go and check the forums you like there were many many new threads opened in last 2 weeks while you were gone.
