The idea behind L&R is to provide people with an outlet to ask questions and discuss things they wouldnt be able to in real life with their peers and family.
Problems come up when you discuss sex and intimacy because these topics are usually not discussed openly.

If you train your kids now that some questions don’t have a right or wrong answer…then they will already KNOW the most reasonable response. That way they’ll figure it out on their own in the future and won’t have to ask. You’ll be developing independent decision making skills in your kids! LOL.

People have problems wth their in laws, and everyone complains that all we do is complain about in laws.
Problems with your family member, long time members normally won’t post family issues so openly, and the “new” ones who do…ask to have them deleted.
If talking about sex makes you uncomfortable, then by all means you are welcome to NOT click on it. You can also open different and interesting threads..but what it comes down to is that sex is a part of our relationships, whether we like to admit it or not.

I asked a question on how to allow your mother in law to feel part of the house without being made to feel I am not…and no one gave me a serious response!
It seems as if the only topics people are interested in are the juicy gossip ones about fighting/hating family members or friends..or that long exhaustive list of intimacy..lack of intimacy, when to be intimate, where to be intimate…what temperature to be intimate in..what is the best lighting…what next…HOW TO BE INTIMATE??

everyone’s too busy playing desperate housewives thats why…and dont wanna deal with the tough things in life…it is quite hilarious though,…esp light on or off and the serious question for married people threads
Wild, create a separate thread and that way your problem will receive more specific attention. Posting your question here…will jumble things up. So create a thread and I’ll try my best to respond to it. First of all is your MIL making YOU feel that you’re not a part of the house?
