And Hareem is correct, majority of Pakistanis do not get the benefits or wages they would if they were in any Western country so they aren’t as well off. Plus, its not exactly possible for expats to ever become citizens in the Middle East. Which is a big reason for Arab women to stay hesitant in commiting or following up a relationship with a South Asian. For example, a guy from the working class in the Middle East will definitely not be able to afford having his family over here while someone from the working class Europe/North America can enjoy various benefits and wage/expenditure parity of some sort; even if he’s got absolutely no education or aspiration. Like I said its a very socio-economic situation rather than racial.
