Well Adam was Jew before he was a Muslim and Israel was a nation 2000 years before Islam was introduced, so I don't know why you want to go back that far. And the Jews can claim a higher power on their side as they were promised the the land by God.

The Palestinians were betrayed by their stupid ignorant and corrupt leaders. *While you guys regularly try to string up Bush for American casualties, you blithely ignore the fact that *Palestinian Leaders *have made failed decisions that have killed thousands of their people. Perhaps the real reason for America's support of Israel is that majority the well known global American organziations - whether it is the Media or for example, big investment banks are primarily Jewish. Not supporting Israel will create real 'election' problems for the man in power in the US. The Muslims don't have half as much clout as the Jews do - both because of the monetary power the Jews have living in these countries (UK, Europe etc.) but also perhaps because of the guilt over the Holocaust? There is no guilt felt towards Muslims because of the situation today. So all in all, it is more profitable to support Israel than it is to support the re-building of Palestine.

Perhaps not. I think if you research this you'll find a lot of evidence supporting my argument here. However, please feel free to provide me any evidence that refutes this and I will be happy to rethink my opinion. I in fact encourage relations between all countries no matter what religion - my opinions can only reflect the information I have. If you have anything more, feel free to share it. If this is a conspiracy - cool - tell me why cause as far as my understanding goes it is in fact relaity. :)

But you are right about the Jews having money and power - but they earned it. They shouldn't feel guilty about it and those who don't have it shouldn't covet it. They should make their own way. Secondly, no one is asking the Jews to feel guilty about it nor is anyone coveting what the Jews have earned. The question was why America supports Israel and I merely stated that it would not be profitable to do so and is my opinion.

Furthermore, no dialogue with an **elected **government no matter what its history is sending out the wrong message - one of double standards and hypocrisy. There is dialogue between the two Irish counterparts so why can dialogues not be resumed here. This is however, an entirely different topic.

Really this could be said of either side. No doubt you are talking about the Palestinian elected government. Who has more might? Which side is actually carrying out the destruction which is currently being discussed at the G8 summit in Russia. To whom did Putin say that the force currently being used is ridiculous on Lebanon when he supported Israel's right to destroy Gaza or Lebanon or in his opinion "self-defence'. There is no point us arguing over this matter unfortunately. We have no influence over anything apart from our own minds sadly. So each to their own.

Go read what Nelson Mandela or Desmon Tutu thinks of Israel you tool.
Israeli Arabs constitute 25% of the Israeli population and have a vastly smaller share of the govt. They also live in seperate locations and are economically and socially depraved. Read any NGO's opinion of the Israeli Arab situation and it closely resembles apartheid.
The Jewish capacity for racism and bigotry is amazing considering they were once the victims themselves.
