All Praise is to Allah (SWT). At the age of 19 years you are asking the right questions. Please do not accept things ‘so easily’ if you feel you cannot. The learned people are not the same as the ignorant. The people of blind faith operate with their emotions and you seem to be a person who wants to operate with reason.
A note of caution however, before you begin a path of getting to the bottom of your concerns, try not to take any short cuts. What I mean is that many Muslims today have fallen prey to the same concerns but instead of finding a way to believe they have resorted to rationalism and explain away Jinn as something other than Jinn and Shaitan as something other than Shaitan and so on. So protect yourself from taking rational short cuts.
The only appeasement for you will be in study and philosophically deductive thought. Search for absolute truth and by way of elimination one can be certain of truth that is not apparent for us to see.
For example look at this drawing:
I will give you a chance to answer this question … in my next post I’ll send the answer or someone else can give it.
There are four captives due to be shot dead. They are buried in the ground in the arrangement shown. They each have a hat on. They know that there are two black and two white hats in total, but they do not know which they have on. A and B can see no one due to the wall, C can see B and D can see both B and C.
They have five minutes to answer for any one of them to answer which colour hat he himself has on to save the life of all four captives.
When the clock starts after 1 minute a person calls his hat colout out and additionally he is 100% sure that it is correct. Who is it and how comes he knows so confidentally?
Answer this question and you will experience a piece of the type of thinking required for religion and truth finding.
Interesting that you bring this up. I had read this one a very long time and had to jog my memory for this one. ‘C’ will have the correct answer owing to ‘D’ silence. However I am not clear what deductive process you are proposing to the starter of this thread unless you mean to say that deductive reasoning will provide the key to the starters confusion.
