women weep as they are not destructive and not faking, nor are they socially encouraged to keep inside of their minds, their sense of loss and disappointnment or channel these into anger and ferocity. that is why, women weep.

better than hitting or yelling at others, is not it?

^ Sorry, I didn't mean for that to sound so rude. I just find the suggestion that a woman's beauty lies in her tears offensive, as it perpetuates the martyr and victim mentality amongst women, implying that their only way to succeed or be acknowledged is through sacrifice, sadness, and hardship.

^ I was not offended by the comment, but was trying to clearify my views. I totally agree in what you said, but I think the writer was not trying to show it as the only way of success for a women but was trying the explain that tears in the eyes of a women must NOT always be taken as a sign of weakness, but there can be other possible reasons for that.
