My nani mixed race married a pakistani man

In my family on my mothers side there are alot of inter racial marriages. My dads side are 100% pakistani lol not so much on his side except one cousin who married a white man

**I went to a bengali wedding recently and there were alot of ladies married to white men. **I think it will always cause shock horror when an asian person married a non asian but it is more acceptable now

It’s definitely getting quite common for Bengali girls to ‘marry out’.. I think Bengali parents tend to be a bit less resistant to it than Pakistanis..

My mother’s side of the family is mixed as well.. My nan was white too..
