Apparently the security staff at istanbul didn’t get the memo. I would especially avoid taking PIA through there.

Turkish govt does support Pakistan but I guess it must be that Pakistan supports them against Greece. Turkish friends have dried up if there were any in the west.

I don’t get the normal people considering the fact that turkish students would never want to associate with MSA at colleges / universities while Pakistanis are much into “islamic brotherhood”.

Yea turkish people here are more into themselves. Not much with desis. That could be the reason behind MSA. Also a lot of turkish here are wayy liberal. They are just divided into Golan-Erdogan groups. Just like Knicks player Kanter. Second like i’ve met this turkish guy who explained how coming to this country means that he works up his life rather than getting political or religious.

But from all what i’ve heard people in turkey are far more amiable towards Pakistanis. And not so towards Americans lol. Another similarity with Pakistanis?
