Why muslims hate the west. Because majority of us are bigots. (…)

majority of the west still thinks islam teaches oppressing women (…)

The west should try and change the stereotypes as well. They should educate themselves more about what real islam is as well, and what it teaches, instead of looking for all the negative things, they should for a change, try and focus on the good things. Reading about 3 psychotic idiots in the paper who blew up a building and killed people in the name of Allah calling themselves muslims shouldnt make them hate their muslim neighbour who works hard at the fruit market to earn some money for his family.

So to go back to the orginal question, I think as Kaka jee said, that a lot of muslims, especially those exposed in the media, are bigots and that is frightening the westerners…and especially the fifty something percent who are women.

I know a lot of them who fears that as muslims have more babies in their country their proportion will increase in the future and they’ll have to wear hijab. From what I’ve heard around me it’s western women biggest concern about islam, (or polygamy?)…just think about the fact that french banned hijab wearing women from attending high schools…the main purpose was to prevent its spread as they were emulating…
