It could be money, yeah. In which case, its just weird.

I actually liked a guy that was not so great looking...the thing was...he had a very charming persona and that did the trick. He was funny, confident, well dressed but his face wasn't much to speak of. Once they spark your interest, their face matters less and what they say matters more. That was just a personal experience I had.

I dont think ALL good looking men treat women badly. However, at times their ego does get in the way of treating a woman as she should be treated. When the arrogance takes over, they start to look ugly. At least thats how it is with me. If a guy is cute but he doesnt have a good head on his shoulders, what good is he?

I agree, that happens most of the times in South Asian/Arab societies. But again its not a universal truth, even within those societies.
