cause of their experiences with home invasion robberies…when you have a 12 gauge pointed at ur head you naturally talk fast. After a while, karachians got used to it and it became their natural way of speaking.

...city people talk faster becuz their lives are more hectic...people talk faster in ny and dc places liek that becuz they interact with more people on a daily basis. I have to make appointments for lunch to see my friends on campus these days!..always running into someone...but never have a free moment for baath cheet.
I hate it when people talk really fast - usually with a pathetic dialect…

It's true, Karachi people tend to speak URDU fast ... it's just the way they speak.
After i moved to toronto, most of my friends were from karachi and seriously after hanging
out with them for 10 years, everyone thinks i am from Karachi.
my punjabi urdu accent is gone :(
