If he doesn't remember, why doesn't the girl open her mouth and keep reminding him?? Why should she get offended and upset knowing she wants a special day, while he may remember it privately and not make a celebration of it. You have to tell your man straight out what you want. She can say it in a nice joking way where he won't be offended. It works.
