re. the title :As opposed to gorays on gupshup?
Anyways, whatever information that we have about is you is whatever you put out, be it in blogs or threads or whatever.Sometimes ppl don't even remember where they've read about something, but the image sticks. I've always held you in high regards especially about the fact that you're trying your very best for your children as parent, particularly home-schooling them , which I think is a major under-taking. But your comment about my culture and subsequently about the men in my family , I found was really offensive, even if you used it as a joke.Coming from someone who should know better especially about stereo-typing. Sorry if I've offended you in any way.
I'm sorry that I have lost all the respect in your eyes but in reality when I stated ' pathan treat their men very well' I had a lot of things in my mind. It started as a joke but then few other people started insulting each other, I realized my mistake and apologised for it [that you completely ignored but that's okay].
I, nowhere said anything about men in your family though [how can I? I don't even know them]. Homosexuality is a part of pakhtun culture and so is mujras of punjabi culture but do I accept it or do I support it? Ofcourse not.
But on the other hand I do not deny the existence of these evils in our society, culture and nation.
My intention wasn't to hurt anyone's feeling and I take my words back 'pathan don't treat their men very well' [only joking]
